I'm not sure what day or year this photo was taken, but it was most likely at the National Stadium during the Municipal Secondary School's annual sports meet.
That day, we were in class when the guy on the left (Shon) informed us that his girlfriend, a student at the listed school, had invited him to their sports meeting at the National Stadium. He had no choice but to invite us to come watch the sporting event with him. We were excited to go, even though we had to miss class to get there on time.
As you can see, we arrived at the National Stadium wearing our finest school swag. The one you're looking at (a tied school necktie hung around one's neck) was the most common school swag among young students that year.
Shon wanted to call his girlfriend's phone a few minutes after we arrived. He had trouble getting linked every time he tried to dial her number. I'm not sure if it was the network or anything else, but Shon refused to back down. He continued to call her phone until she responded. When she answered the phone, she told Shon to meet her at a location I don't recall, and when we arrived there, she was nowhere to be found. She later led us to several sites, but we were unable to see her at any of them. Despite this, Shon's desire to see her remained unquenchable.
Okay, that's not all. We were sitting in one of the stands at the National Stadium, watching various activities when Shon's phone rang. It just so happened that his girlfriend was calling. Shon answered the phone nervously. He asked us to escort him to the next stand after he dropped it and said his girlfriend was there. We didn't say anything because he was the one who was responsible for our fare. We were there to see and meet with his girlfriend, after all.
We arrived at the stand, where she requested Shon's presence. Fortunately, she was there. What's more, guess what? We found her seated with another guy, her leg crossed over his lap and her hand wrapped around his neck. Oh, my goodness! Our friend Shon and I were both taken aback when we saw that.
Shon, on the other hand, did not behave in any other way; he was the gentleman. Shon had a brief talk with her before we left, which was unexpected. I was three steps away from Shon, who was talking to his girlfriend and shaking at the same time. Regrettably, we returned to our previous location and proceeded to watch the events.
Well, I'm not sure who suggested we take a picture that day, but every time I look at this photo, I see Shon's pain and anger.
Do you mind looking at the photo again?

I wish I could remember this event. But it all seems like I'm just playing an unreal sad-Romeo role in your story. πππ
